The Illinois Center for Transportation at the University of Illinois has released a report that evaluates current bracing systems by using field instrumentation, finite element analysis, and the Torsional Analysis Exterior Girders program—a program used by bridge designers to design bracing systems to prevent exterior girder rotation.
